This project saw the installation of a 205.98 kWp solar PV system, designed to maximise on-site energy generation and efficiency. With a maximum achieved AC power of 151.9 kW, the system is projected to produce 178.85 MWh of clean electricity annually, significantly cutting energy costs for the school. Beyond financial savings, the environmental impact is equally impressive, with 34.59 tonnes of CO₂ emissions saved each year—equivalent to planting 1,589 trees.

In 2022, Genfit successfully completed a solar PV installation at the River Alt Resource Centre, a project carried out simultaneously with an installation at Huyton Library over the course of just two weeks. Both projects exemplify Genfit’s commitment to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions efficiently and effectively. Feedback from both sites was overwhelmingly positive, with all stakeholders expressing satisfaction with the installations.

At the River Alt Resource Centre, Genfit installed a solar PV system with a DC power capacity of 49.88 kWp. The system’s maximum achieved AC power was 33.3 kW, ensuring optimal performance and energy output. Annually, the installation is projected to generate 41.8 MWh of clean energy, contributing to a reduction of 8.08 tonnes of COâ‚‚ emissions. This environmental impact is equivalent to planting 371 trees, showcasing the significant benefits of transitioning to solar power.

In 2022, Genfit proudly completed a solar PV installation at Huyton Library, a landmark project aimed at enhancing the library’s sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint. The installation featured a total of 154 high-performance BYD solar panels, paired with a Solaredge 33.3k inverter and 77 Solaredge P80 power optimizers.
