In today’s dynamic business landscape, staying ahead in the competitive market requires continuous innovation and optimization of processes. One critical aspect of business success is the sales process. From lead generation to conversion, every step in the sales journey matters. Recognizing this, many companies are increasingly turning to strategic partnerships to bolster their sales effectiveness and drive growth.
That’s why we have turned to Insite to speed up and improve our sales process. It will help us from the original site survey to the completion of the job. This will help us evolve as a company and provide our future customers with an even better experience.
Site Survey
When arriving on site, Insite will allow us to fill out forms with all the relevant information we need to report back to the office. Once all information is gathered it will allow our design to work on a design using the SolarEdge Designer app. We can also add images to our forms which gives us the ability to draw site plans onto the images we take on site.
Installation
The Insite app will allow our installation team to access all the information they will need on the job such as the SolarEdge design to see where everything needs to be installed. Insite will also make signing off documents on-site a much quicker process. Most importantly as a company that values the environment very highly, this process will reduce the amount of paper will be using on site.
Conclusion
In conclusion, we are excited to be partnering up with Insite and we look forward to seeing more happy customers and continuing to help the environment by creating a greener cleaner future!
We recently visited the Etihad Stadium as SolarEdge was holding a roadshow event to show off the latest SolarEdge products and apps coming this year and in 2025.
To make sure that we are at the forefront of innovation in the renewable sector we frequently attend events held by our suppliers and Brands, at the SolarEdge Roadshow we engaged in several presentations about new products, new software, and regulations so that we can offer our customers the very best solar panel solution for them.
The new products coming soon will allow us to improve our residential installs and provide better home energy management helping you to be greener and smarter with your energy usage.
We spoke to Nick Blampied about commercial products including the G100 issue 2 amendment 2, and he showed us how to work out the battery storage for a site via Excel. The new commercial outdoor battery coming out later in 2024. We discussed the new S1400 optimiser which are designed to take up to 2 x 700W panels.
In today’s world, where environmental concerns and financial prudence often intersect, the adoption of renewable energy sources like solar power has become increasingly popular. Among these, solar panels stand out as a promising investment not only for their environmental benefits but also for their potential to generate long-term savings for homeowners and businesses alike. Understanding the intricacies of this investment and its long-term savings potential is crucial for those considering transitioning to solar energy.
Solar panels, once installed, can significantly reduce or even eliminate electricity bills for homeowners and businesses. By harnessing sunlight and converting it into electricity, solar panels offer a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to traditional grid power. However, the upfront costs of purchasing and installing solar panels can seem daunting to some. It’s essential to look beyond these initial expenses and consider the long-term savings that solar panels can yield.
One of the primary ways solar panels generate savings over time is through the reduction of electricity bills. Traditional electricity generation relies on fossil fuels, which are subject to price fluctuations and often involve hidden costs such as environmental degradation and health impacts. In contrast, solar energy is free, abundant, and sustainable. Once the initial investment in solar panels is recouped, the ongoing operational costs are minimal, resulting in significant savings on electricity bills over the system’s lifespan, which can be upwards of 25 years.
Moreover, many governments and local authorities offer incentives and rebates to encourage the adoption of solar energy. These incentives can offset a substantial portion of the upfront costs associated with installing solar panels, making the investment even more attractive. Additionally, some regions allow for net metering, enabling solar panel owners to sell excess electricity generated back to the grid, further enhancing the potential for savings.
Another aspect to consider when evaluating the long-term savings of solar panels is their impact on property value. Studies have shown that homes equipped with solar panels tend to sell faster and at higher prices than those without. Potential buyers are increasingly drawn to properties with solar installations due to the prospect of reduced energy bills and a smaller environmental footprint. Therefore, investing in solar panels not only yields savings during ownership but also enhances the resale value of the property, providing a tangible return on investment.
Furthermore, as technology advances and economies of scale drive down the cost of solar panels and related equipment, the financial benefits of solar energy are expected to become even more pronounced in the future. Innovations in solar panel efficiency, energy storage solutions, and smart grid integration are continuously improving the performance and affordability of solar energy systems, amplifying their long-term savings potential.
It’s important to note that the exact savings generated by solar panels will vary depending on factors such as location, energy consumption patterns, system size, and local regulations. Therefore, conducting a comprehensive assessment tailored to your specific circumstances is essential for accurately estimating the long-term savings potential of solar panels.
In conclusion, investing in solar panels offers a compelling opportunity to maximize your investment while contributing to a sustainable future. By understanding the long-term savings potential of solar energy and leveraging available incentives and rebates, homeowners and businesses can enjoy significant financial benefits while reducing their reliance on fossil fuels. With careful planning and informed decision-making, transitioning to solar power can prove to be a wise and rewarding investment for years to come.
Our first afternoon of volunteering took place on the 30/01/24 at the Clwyd Special Riding Centre. Jack, our Approved Electrician, Oli, our Electrical Apprentice, and Joe, one of our Sales Surveyors, spent the afternoon there. Sara, the Volunteering Co-ordinator, welcomed our staff warmly. Her passion for the mission of Clwyd Special Riding Centre shone through as she extended her gratitude for their dedication to the cause. Sara guided our staff through the riding centre – showing them the stables, greeting the groomers, and the different buildings where the riders go to learn. The first task on the agenda was to tidy up the Christmas decorations for storage, this involved organising them into the appropriate boxes depending on the type of decoration. Once all the decorations were boxed up, they needed to be transported over to the storage room which had a tarpaulin over the top to protect them from any rain. The volunteers then began their second task of the afternoon – tidying up the horse coat room. Sara briefed the team on how the coat room had been organised previously, and how to find the sizes of each coat. They then went through finding the sizes, and figuring out how many of each they had so that they could allow appropriate space on the shelf. Finally, they labelled up and laid the coats down neat and tidy. Sara expressed her gratitude the next day with a heartfelt email, conveying how polite our staff were and how much it meant to the staff at Clwyd Special Riding Centre for those jobs being completed.
Volunteering Afternoon 2:
Our second afternoon of volunteering took place on the 14/02/24 at Clwyd Special Riding Centre. Lauren, Our Head of Operation, Sophie, our Health & Safety Manager, and Meg, our Sales Support spent the afternoon there. Similar to the previous volunteering session, Sara greeted our staff at arrival and gave them a tour of the Centre, showing the stables, and telling them about the different horses they had recently gained. The task at hand that day was clearing out two large cupboards at the back of their common room. Sara had said they had not gone through them for most likely 10+ years. They had many different objects inside, such as files, fancy dress costumes, old awards, and old riding equipment. They began with the cupboard on the left by removing everything from within, laying it all out on a table clearly so they could go through everything. They then swept and dusted inside the cupboard before everything went back in. They then moved on to the right cupboard, which was bursting compared to the first cupboard they sorted through, which took them longer. Again, Sara was very grateful for their help in a job they just don’t have time to do. We have already booked in our next session with them.
