Green Homes Wales Scheme

The Green Homes Wales scheme, launched by the Welsh Government and managed through the Development Bank of Wales, is designed to help homeowners cut energy bills, reduce carbon emissions, and future-proof their homes.

Through the scheme, eligible households can access:

Interest-free loans of up to £25,000 (repayable over 10 years).
Grants to reduce the upfront cost of energy-saving measures.
Support from accredited Retrofit Coordinators to make sure improvements are tailored to your home.

Solar PV and solar PV with battery storage are eligible measures, making this an excellent opportunity for Welsh homeowners to switch to renewable energy without the usual upfront cost burden.
