At Genfit, we are committed to delivering high-quality solar solutions that make a lasting impact. Our recent installation at WM Primary School is a prime example of how schools can harness the power of renewable energy to reduce their carbon footprint while benefiting from long-term energy savings.

This project saw the installation of a 205.98 kWp solar PV system, designed to maximise on-site energy generation and efficiency. With a maximum achieved AC power of 151.9 kW, the system is projected to produce 178.85 MWh of clean electricity annually, significantly cutting energy costs for the school. Beyond financial savings, the environmental impact is equally impressive, with 34.59 tonnes of CO₂ emissions saved each year—equivalent to planting 1,589 trees.

By embracing solar energy, WM Primary School is not only reducing its reliance on the grid but also setting a powerful example for students and the wider community about the importance of sustainability. This installation highlights how schools can take proactive steps toward a greener future while benefiting from renewable energy’s economic and environmental advantages.
