Project Overview

Genfit completed a 46.64 kWp rooftop Solar PV installation at Oak Lane Clinic in 2024 for our client, Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH).

The project involved the installation of 88 solar panels, supported by 44 SolarEdge power optimisers and a 33.3 kW inverter, creating an efficient rooftop renewable energy system designed to generate clean electricity directly on site.

The system is expected to produce approximately 41.76 MWh of usable solar energy each year, helping Oak Lane Clinic reduce its reliance on grid electricity while supporting CLCH’s wider sustainability and carbon reduction objectives.

The installation is estimated to save approximately 8.08 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, equivalent to planting around 371 trees each year, making effective use of the available roof space while reducing the environmental impact of the clinic’s electricity consumption.

System Design & Technology

The installation utilises a SolarEdge PV system, selected for its advanced monitoring capabilities, module-level optimisation and enhanced safety features.

Green Tick 1 SolarEdge inverter and 44 power optimisers help maximise system performance across the 88-panel array.

Green Tick Maximum achieved AC power of 33.3 kW, efficiently converting the electricity generated by the PV array into usable power for the clinic.

Green Tick Advanced monitoring platform provides real-time performance data and detailed system insights, helping to identify any issues quickly.

Green Tick Enhanced safety features include module-level monitoring and SolarEdge SafeDC™ functionality, reducing DC voltage to a safer level when required.
