Company History
Genfit was originally established as PVFit Ltd in 2009 by our Director, Dave Houston, driven by a strong belief in the potential of solar energy and a desire to deliver high-quality installations that genuinely benefitted customers. The business quickly built a reputation in the residential sector for its technical expertise, attention to detail and reliable delivery.
As the renewable energy market evolved, so did we. Our experience, capabilities and ambitions grew beyond residential projects, leading to an expanded focus on commercial, education and community energy installations. To reflect this progression and our forward-thinking approach, the business began trading as Genfit — a name that represents our commitment to being at the forefront of renewable energy generation and smart energy solutions.
Today, Genfit delivers solar PV, battery storage and EV charging projects across the UK, working with homeowners, businesses, schools and public-sector organisations.
